Adult dose

Due to the POTENTIAL TOXICITY of unverified formulations containing Vishamushti, I cannot provide a safe dosage. This formulation should ONLY be compounded and administered by a qualified Ayurvedic physician experienced in using Vishamushti-containing medicines, and after VERY CAREFUL evaluation of the patient's condition and constitution. Starting doses would be extremely small (e.g., 62.5mg or less) and titrated upwards VERY slowly under strict observation.

Preparation steps

• Gather all the herbs and minerals in their natural state.
• Wash and let the Vishamushti (Strychnos nux-vomica) seeds dry in the sun.
• Remove the outer covering and the seeds inside.
• Crush the Vishamushti seed kernels into a very fine powder using a machine or a grinding tool.
• Grind ginger, long pepper, black pepper, and dry ginger separately until they are in fine powder form.
• Combine all the powders, along with the rock salt, in the right proportions to make a smooth mixture.
• Use a fine mesh to separate the mixed powder and make sure it is all the same.
• The result is the Vishadharanika powder, which can be processed with water and shaped into a band for tying.
