Trapusimulakalkam is a paste formulation in Ayurveda used to manage bleeding disorders (Raktapitta) by virtue of its cooling and astringent properties. It helps to balance Pitta and Kapha doshas, aiding in digestion and reducing abdominal distension.

Preparation steps
- Collect fresh Trapusa (cucumber) and Mulaka (radish).
- Wash the ingredients thoroughly to remove any impurities.
- Grind the Trapusa and Mulaka separately to obtain a fine paste.
- Mix the pastes together in the prescribed proportions.
- Add a small amount of water if needed to adjust the consistency.
- The resulting paste is Trapusimulakalkam.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in conditions with severe Ama accumulation.
