Adult dose
3-6 grams
Pediatric dose
1-3 grams per day.
Preparation steps
- Collect equal parts of dried Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica), and Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) fruits.
- Ensure the fruits are thoroughly dried, either by sun-drying or using a low-heat oven to remove any remaining moisture.
- Grind each fruit separately into a fine powder using a high-quality grinder.
- Mix the three powders in equal proportions to create the Triphala churna.
- Sieve the mixture through a fine mesh to ensure a consistent, fine powder.
- Store the Triphala churna in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
