Tiktaka ghrita is a classical ghee formulation used to treat fever of Pitta origin, balance Pitta and Kapha, detoxify the body, and manage inflammatory conditions.

Adult dose
5-10 ml once or twice a day
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 ml once or twice a day
Preparation steps
- Boil coarse powder of ingredients (Patola to Trayamana) in specified quantity of water to prepare decoction.
- Powder ingredients (Trayanti to Kana) separately and grind together with sufficient water to prepare paste.
- Heat ghee with the prepared paste and decoction with continuous stirring.
- Stop heating when all moisture content evaporates, froth subsides, and the paste forms a wick (varti) when rolled.

- Pregnancy, lactation, and children under 5 years unless specified by a physician.
