Modern description

An antidote formulation used for snake poison, neutralizing toxins and promoting digestion. Also used to manage bleeding disorders and inflammatory conditions.

• Bleeding disorders (Raktapitta), Burning sensation, Dysuria (Mutrakrichra), General Pitta aggravation
• Snake bite poisoning

• Terrible poison of snakes and those with prominent stripes.

10-20 ml (juice) or 5-10 g (paste) of Tanduliyaka

Preparation steps

• Collect fresh Tanduliya (Amaranthus tricolor) plant.
• Wash the plant thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris.
• Crush the plant to extract the juice.
• Alternatively, make a paste of the plant.
• Use the juice or paste as directed by the physician.

Safety contraindications
