Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients.
- Clean and dry the herbs properly.
- Prepare a coarse powder of the ingredients.
- For Kalka (paste): Grind the required quantity of herbs with water to make a paste.
- For Kwatha (decoction): Boil the herbs in water until the volume is reduced to one-fourth.
- For Churna (powder): Dry the herbs and grind them into a fine powder. Sieve through a mesh to get a uniform consistency.
