Shilajatu Kalpa encompasses various purification and processing methods to prepare Shilajatu for therapeutic use, thereby enhancing its rejuvenative and therapeutic properties.

- General debility, fatigue, low immunity, metabolic disorders, urinary disorders (including diabetes), respiratory ailments (especially Kapha-related), digestive weakness, obesity, sexual dysfunction, bone weakness, premature aging, neurological disorders.

Adult dose
250 mg to 1 gram, once or twice daily.
Pediatric dose
125 mg - 500 mg
Preparation steps
- Powder dry Shilajatu.
- Take the powdered Shilajatu in an iron vessel and add 2-4 times hot water.
- Stir well and filter the mixture the next day to separate solid waste particles.
- Collect the water solution of Shilajitu and heat it until it reaches boiling point.
- Add 2 parts of water again and heat till boiling point, then allow it to cool down.
- While cooling down, Shilajitu forms a foamy layer on top of the vessel, which is carefully collected.
- Repeat this process until foam formation stops.
- Make the obtained mass of Shilajatu into a bolus and dry daily in sunlight.
Safety contraindications
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or trying to become pregnant. Heart disease, blood pressure issues, blood thinners, clotting or bleeding disorders. Conditions that cause an overactive immune system like MCAS, RA, or lupus. Hemochromatosis.
