Modern description

Shatyadi is a classical decoction primarily used to manage Sannipata (severe imbalance of all three doshas), acting as a potent anti-inflammatory, expectorant and fever reducer. It is also effective in Vataja Kasa (Allergic Bronchitis).

Adult dose

3-6 grams of the powder (churna) once or twice daily. For a decoction (kwatha), 50-100 ml once or twice daily.

15-30 ml

Preparation steps
