Adult dose
5-10 ml or as directed by the physician.
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 ml or as directed by the physician.
Preparation steps
- Collection of raw materials.
- The herbs are cleaned and made into a coarse powder.
- Ghee is prepared and heated, then the powdered herbs are added.
- The mixture is heated until all the moisture evaporates and the ghee is infused with the herbs.
- The ghee is filtered to remove the solid residue.
- The resulting Shatpalaka Ghrita is cooled and stored in airtight containers.
Safety contraindications
- Avoid in conditions with excess Kapha or Ama.
