Preparation steps
- Bala (Sida cordifolia) is processed with water to create a decoction.
- The decoction is then mixed with sesame oil (Taila).
- The mixture is heated and processed repeatedly, sometimes up to a hundred times, allowing the oil to absorb the therapeutic properties of Bala.
- The oil is then filtered and stored.
Safety contraindications
- Not suitable for individuals with Ama condition or acute infections.
