Key ingredients
- Guggulu - 1 part
- Amalaki - 1 part
- Haritaki - 1 part
- Vibhitaki - 1 part
- Musta - 1 part
- Vidanga - 1 part
- Triphala - additional quantity to make it 7 parts if Triphala is not readily available as separate ingredients
Adult dose
3-6 grams twice or thrice daily
Pediatric dose
Reduce adult dose by half or as directed by a physician.
Preparation steps
- Collect the ingredients.
- Clean and dry the ingredients.
- Powder the ingredients separately.
- Mix all the powdered ingredients in specified proportions.
- Store in an airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children. Also contraindicated in patients with severe kidney diseases.
