Key ingredients
- Musta 1 part
- Parpataka 1 part
- Chandana 1 part
- Shunti 1 part
- Rakta Chandana 1 part. All parts should be of equal quantity.
- Ushira 1 part
Adult dose
60-120 ml
Pediatric dose
15-30 ml
Preparation steps
- Coarsely powder the ingredients.
- Add the powdered drugs to water (typically 4 parts water to 1 part drugs).
- Boil until one-fourth of the water remains.
- Filter the decoction through a clean cloth.
- Allow to cool before use.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for individuals with severe Vata aggravation or excessive dryness.
