Key ingredients
- Musta 1 part
- Parpataka 1 part
- Chandana 1 part
- Shunti 1 part
- Amalaki 1 part. All parts are traditionally taken in equal quantity

Adult dose
40-60 ml, typically prepared with 5-10 grams of the herbal mixture.
Pediatric dose
30-60 ml
Preparation steps
- Gather the six ingredients (Shadanga): Musta (Cyperus rotundus), Parpataka (Fumaria officinalis), Ushira (Vetiveria zizanioides), Chandana (Santalum album), Shunti (Zingiber officinale), and Nagarjuna.
- Clean and coarsely powder each ingredient separately.
- Mix all the powdered ingredients in equal proportions.
- Take 5-10 grams of the mixture and add to 240 ml (approximately one cup) of water.
- Boil the mixture until the water reduces to half (approximately 120 ml).
- Filter the Yusha through a clean cloth.
- Serve warm.
