Adult dose

Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients.
- Clean, dry and powder the solid ingredients separately.
- Mix the powdered ingredients together.
- Prepare Takra (buttermilk) using curd and water in a 3:1 ratio.
- Add the powder mixture to the Takra.
- Transfer the mixture into a ghee-smeared earthenware pot or a glass jar.
- Seal the container and keep it undisturbed for fermentation.
- Allow the mixture to ferment for 6-7 days, or until a perceptible sour and pungent taste is achieved.
- Filter the fermented liquid through a muslin cloth.
- Store the filtered Takrarishta in amber-colored bottles in a cool, dry place.
