Adult dose
1-2 teaspoons (5-10 grams) once or twice daily
Pediatric dose
1/2 - 1 teaspoon, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Preparation steps
- Melt ghee in a pan.
- Add jaggery to the melted ghee.
- Mix well until the jaggery is completely dissolved and a homogenous mixture is formed.
- Heat the mixture on low flame until it reaches a semi-solid consistency.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- Store in an airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, Ama conditions (toxic metabolic waste), excessive Kapha.
