Sandhava is a recipe using rock salt, used orally as a digestive aid and topically for eye ailments to reduce pain and redness. It balances electrolytes and improves digestion.

Indications
- Indigestion, abdominal distension, loss of appetite, constipation (Vata type), colic, used as a vehicle to enhance absorption of other medicines, eye diseases such as redness, tearing and pain.

Adult dose

- Finely grind Sandhava (rock salt).
- For oral use, mix with the appropriate vehicle as indicated.
- For topical use (eye ailments), dissolve a small amount in sterile water or rose water, ensuring no particulate matter remains.
