Adult dose
5-10 ml, or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician
Pediatric dose
Use with caution, as directed by a physician.
Preparation steps
- Collect all the necessary herbal drugs.
- Wash them properly.
- Make a kalka (paste) of the drugs.
- Add milk to the paste and mix properly, keep stirring.
- Add sesame oil to the solution and mix it properly.
- Filter the oil in a clean vessel.
- Store the oil in a clean airtight glass container and keep it away from direct sunlight.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in severe Pitta disorders with ulceration. Avoided in women during puerperium. Difficulty in breathing.
