Adult dose

Preparation steps
- Take the coarse powder (kwatha churna) of the drug of which Rasakriya has to be prepared.
- Add 16 parts of water to one part of the coarse powder in a large vessel.
- Keep the vessel on a stove (kosti) and boil on a low flame (Mandagni) until only 1/4 part (4 liters) of the water remains.
- Filter the decoction.
- Take the filtrate in a fresh vessel and boil again in a water bath until it becomes semisolid (Ghanatwam).
- Remove the semi-solid substance from the flame and allow it to dry in a hot air oven or sunlight.
- Collect the dried substance; this is the Rasakriya of that particular drug.

- Should be avoided in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, acute febrile illness, or severe systemic disorders without proper purification and expert guidance.
