Adult dose
125mg - 250mg once or twice a day
Pediatric dose
0.25-1 gram
Preparation steps
- Take the coarse powder of the drug of which Rasakriya has to be prepared.
- Add 16 parts of water to one part of the coarse powder in a large vessel.
- Keep on a stove and boil on a low flame until only 1/4 part of the water remains.
- Filter the decoction.
- Heat the juice or decoction into a semi-solid state.
- Add fine powders of the prakshepa dravyas (if any).
- Dry in sunlight or a hot air oven.
