A cooling oil used to alleviate fever and burning sensations, likely containing Pitta-pacifying herbs.

Purpose

Destroys fever and burning sensation.

Preparation steps

• Collect the necessary herbs known for their Pitta-pacifying and fever-reducing properties.
• Prepare a decoction (Kwatha) using water and the selected herbs.
• Create a paste (Kalka) from some of the herbs.
• Combine the decoction, paste, and a base oil (such as sesame or coconut oil) in a specific ratio.
• Heat the mixture gently until all the water evaporates and only the oil remains, infused with the herbal extracts.
• Filter the oil and store it in a clean, airtight container.

Safety contraindications

• Avoid in conditions with excessive Kapha or Ama.
