Indications
- General debility, emaciation, convalescence, weak digestion, promoting strength and vitality.
Classical indications
- Kshaya (tissue depletion)
- Bala Kshaya (loss of strength)
Karma
- Balya (strengthening), Brumhana (nourishing), Vata-Pittashamaka (balances Vata and Pitta)
Key ingredients
- Ksheera
- Ghee
- Sharkara
- Madhu
Adult dose
1-2 tablespoons, once or twice daily
Pediatric dose
1/2 - 1 tablespoon, once or twice daily
Preparation steps
- Collect the ingredients.
- Prepare Kalka (paste) and Kwatha (decoction) as per classical methods.
- Mix the Kalka and Kwatha.
- Cook until the desired consistency is achieved.
- Allow it to cool, and then store it properly.
Safety contraindications
- Ajeerna (indigestion), Ama (undigested toxins).
