A decoction enema containing Patoladi, Rasam, and Guduchi, used to alleviate fever by pacifying Pitta and promoting digestion.

Adult dose
Quantity depends on the individual's Agni (digestive fire), Bala (strength), and the severity of the condition, typically ranging from 400ml to 800ml as per physician's discretion for Niruha Basti
Pediatric dose
Not generally used in children; consult a physician.
Preparation steps
- Collect the necessary herbs: Patola, Nimba, Guduchi and other prescribed herbs.
- Clean and dry the herbs properly.
- Prepare a coarse powder of the herbs.
- Boil the herbal powder in water to create a decoction (kashaya).
- Strain the decoction to remove any solid particles.
- Add honey, salt and oil/ghee to the decoction.
- Mix the ingredients properly to ensure homogeneity.
