2.5-5 ml, as directed by the physician
Preparation steps
- Collect the necessary herbs and ingredients.
- Powder the ingredients from Haritaki to Hima.
- Prepare a paste by adding sufficient water.
- Heat ghee along with the prepared paste.
- Stir continuously while adding water.
- Heat until subsidence of froth and evaporation of moisture.
- Stop heating when the paste rolled between fingers forms varti (wick).
- Strain the mixture to remove plant matter.
- Store the prepared Ghrita in amber-colored airtight containers.
Safety contraindications
- Those prone to Kapha imbalance like weight gain should avoid it.
