Adult dose
48-96 ml of the decoction (Kashaya), typically twice a day.
Pediatric dose
30-60 ml
Preparation steps
- Gather the five roots (either Brihat or Laghu Panchamula).
- Wash and clean the roots thoroughly.
- Crush or cut the roots into small pieces.
- Boil the crushed roots in milk and water (typically 1 part roots to 4 parts liquid).
- Simmer until the liquid is reduced to one-fourth of the original volume.
- Strain the decoction through a clean cloth.
- Allow to cool slightly before consumption.

- Not suitable for individuals with severe kidney or liver disorders without medical supervision.
