Key ingredients
- Based on Brihattrayi
- 'Panchamuli' usually refers to either 'Dashamula' or 'Laghu Panchamula' (smaller five roots) or 'Brihat Panchamula' (larger five roots). Assuming 'Laghu Panchamula': Bilva (Aegle marmelos) root
- Agnimantha root
- Gambhari root
- Patala root
- Shalaparni root
Adult dose
Decoction: 20-40 ml, once or twice a day. Powder: 3-6 grams, once or twice a day.
Pediatric dose
50-100 ml
Preparation steps
- Take the prescribed herbs of Panchamuli.
- Boil with milk to make a decoction.
- Reduce to 1/4 of the original volume.
- Filter the decoction.
- Let it cool down.
- Administer lukewarm.
