Preparation steps
- Collection of Nilotpala and other herbs
- Drying the herbs
- Cutting into small pieces
- Burning the herbs in open air to obtain ash
- Mixing ash with four parts of water
- Stirring well and leaving for 3 hours
- Filtering through a three-layered cloth
- Obtaining the filtrate in an iron vessel
- Heating till all water content gets evaporated
- Powdering and storing in an airtight glass container
