Adult dose
5-10 ml

2.5-5 ml
Preparation steps
- Prepare a paste (kalka) of Nilini (Indigofera tinctoria).
- Melt ghee in a pan.
- Add the Nilini paste to the melted ghee.
- Simmer on low heat until all moisture evaporates and only the medicated ghee remains.
- Filter the ghrita through a clean muslin cloth.
- Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Avoid in conditions where ghee is contraindicated, such as indigestion or acute fever.
