Key ingredients
- Nagabala root paste (Kalka) 1 part
- Cow's ghee 4 parts
- Water 16 parts
Adult dose
5-10 grams (approximately 1-2 teaspoons)
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 ml
Preparation steps
- Collect Nagabala herb and other required ingredients.
- Prepare a decoction (kashaya) of Nagabala.
- Make a paste (kalka) of the Nagabala herb.
- Combine ghee, Nagabala paste, and Nagabala decoction in a vessel.
- Heat the mixture on low flame until all the water evaporates and only ghee remains.
- Filter the ghee to remove any solid particles.
- Store in a clean, airtight container.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for individuals with indigestion or acute fever.
