Adult dose
15-30 ml
Pediatric dose
5-10 ml, twice a day, for children above 5 years.
Preparation steps
- Collection of herbs (roots as indicated by the name Mulasava).
- Cleaning and drying of the herbs.
- Coarsely powdering the herbs.
- Adding jaggery or sugar as a fermentation agent.
- Adding water to the mixture.
- Sealing the container and allowing it to ferment for a specific period (typically 15-30 days).
- Filtering the fermented liquid.
- Bottling and storing the Asava.
