Revives one dead from poison, like nectar.
Indications
- General debility, fatigue, loss of appetite, emaciation, weakness, post-illness recovery, cardiac weakness, respiratory problems (especially related to Vata and Kapha imbalance), infertility, and as a general tonic for strength and vitality. It is also used to alleviate the ill-effects of excessive alcohol consumption.

Adult dose
15-30 ml, once or twice a day
Pediatric dose
5-10 ml, twice a day, for children above 5 years.
Preparation steps
- Dissolve one-year-old jaggery in water.
- Add coarsely powdered herbs (Babbula Twak to Punarnava) to the jaggery solution.
- Cover the mouth of the vessel with a lid, seal it, and preserve it in a heap of grains.
- After sixteen days, add powders of drugs from betel nut to white sandal powder to the mixture.
- Keep the mixture in a heap of grains for another 4 days.
- Distill in a Mayura Yantra/Baka Yantra or Mochika Yantra.
