Adult dose
5-10 grams (approximately 1-2 teaspoons)

Preparation steps
- Collect all the necessary ingredients as per the formulation.
- Prepare a decoction (Kashaya) of the specified herbs.
- Take pure cow's ghee in a clean, heavy-bottomed pan.
- Add the herbal decoction to the ghee.
- Add the prescribed quantity of herbal paste (Kalka) to the ghee and decoction mixture.
- Cook the mixture on a low flame, stirring continuously.
- Continue heating until all the moisture evaporates, and only the ghee remains.
- Filter the ghee through a clean cloth.
- Allow the ghee to cool down completely.
- Store the Mayura Ghrita in a clean, airtight container, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for individuals with known allergies to any of the ingredients. Avoid in acute fever.
