Adult dose

3-6 grams (approximately 1/2 to 1 teaspoon) per day, typically divided into two doses, or as directed by the physician.

Pediatric dose

1-3 grams (approximately 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon), once or twice daily, or as directed by an Ayurvedic physician. Not recommended for children below 8 years without consultation.
