Preparation steps
- Collection of herbs
- Preparation of Kalka (paste) and Kwatha (decoction)
- Mixing of Kalka, Kwatha, and base oil (Tila taila)
- Heating the mixture until Sneha Siddhi Lakshanas are achieved (completion tests for desired characteristics like smell, color, taste, and absence of cracking sound)
- Filtering the oil when hot
- Storing the oil in a cool, dry place
