Madhuka oil is used in the treatment of Gulma (abdominal lump), pacifies Pitta, and reduces inflammation. It helps in rejuvenating the skin and promoting hair growth.

Adult dose

Preparation steps

• Collect the ingredients: Madhuka (Licorice), Sesame oil, and other herbs as per AFI formulation.
• Prepare a decoction of Madhuka.
• Mix the decoction with sesame oil.
• Boil the mixture over low heat until all water evaporates and only the oil remains.
• Filter the oil and store in a clean, airtight container.

Safety contraindications

• Avoid in cases of known allergy to any of the ingredients. Exercise caution in individuals with Kapha imbalances.
