Lekhya Anjana containing Karanja seeds and Cardamom, is a collyrium used in Raktabhishyanda (eye condition).

Indications
- Chronic eye conditions involving increased Kapha and Pitta doshas, such as pannus, pterygium (early stages), and some types of conjunctivitis. Used to scrape away unwanted tissue growth or opacities on the cornea.

- Kapha-Pittahara (pacifies Kapha and Pitta)
Key ingredients
- Rasanjana

Adult dose
A small amount, typically the size of a grain of rice, applied to the inner canthus of the eye.

Preparation steps
- The ingredients are finely powdered separately.
- All ingredients are mixed together in specified proportions.
- The mixture is triturated with a suitable vehicle like ghee or honey to form a paste immediately before application.

- Contraindicated in acute inflammation, injury, and excessive dryness of the eyes.
