An alkaline medicated ghee used to treat digestive disorders, particularly those related to Kapha and Vata imbalance, promoting digestive fire and alleviating congestion. It is also indicated in piles, fistula and abdominal lumps.

- Ghrita - 48 grams
- Water - 192 ml
- Apamarga Kshara - 48 grams

5-10 ml, once or twice a day

2.5-5 ml
Preparation steps
- Kshara is prepared from medicinal plants.
- Ghrita is prepared using the Kshara.
- The Kalka and Drava are mixed in a vessel.
- Sneha dravya (ghee) is added and boiled on mild fire with continuous stirring.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in conditions like acute diarrhea, dehydration and severe inflammatory conditions.
