Adult dose
5-10 grams per day for churna/paste form. 5-10 ml per day for ghrita form.
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 grams with warm milk, consult physician
Preparation steps
- Select the herbs and ingredients based on their therapeutic properties.
- Infuse the selected herbs in the ghee.
- Heat the ghee gently to allow the herbs to release their medicinal properties.
- Process the ghee and herbs over a period of time, ensuring that the active constituents of the herbs infuse completely into the ghee.
- Strain the mixture to remove the plant matter, leaving behind a pure, therapeutic, and potent ghee-based formulation.
- Store the prepared Kalyanaka Ghrita in amber-colored airtight containers for future use.
