Powder used for managing blood-bile disorders affecting the throat and eyes, promoting cooling and healing. Used as collyrium for eye disorders and infections.

Treatment for blood-bile disorders affecting the throat, specifically when the flow is upwards.

Indications

• Netra Rogas (Eye disorders), especially those involving increased Kapha and Pitta. Can be used for improving vision, reducing eye irritation, and managing early stages of cataract.
• Blood-bile disorders flowing upwards in the throat
• Timira (Myopia & Hypermetropia)
• Netrabhishyanda (Excessive Tearing & Discharge)

Key ingredients

• Rasanjana - 1 part
• Daruharidra - 1 part
• Haritaki - 1 part
• Bibhitaki - 1 part
• Amalaki - 1 part
• Saindhava Lavana - 1/2 part
• Karpura - 1/4 part

Adult dose

A pinch (approximately 125mg-250mg) applied as Kajal (collyrium) in the eyes.

Pediatric dose

0.5-1 gram

Preparation steps

• The herbs are collected and dried.
• The dried herbs are then ground into a fine powder.
• The powder is then processed and purified according to classical Ayurvedic methods.

Safety contraindications

• Contraindicated in those suffering from fatigue, Udavarta, excessive lacrimation, alcoholic, anger, fear, fever (especially early stage of fever), suppression of natural urges and disorders of head as it causes redness-discomfort-diminish of vision-discharge- pain in eyes.
