A group of herbs traditionally used to pacify Pitta dosha, reduce inflammation, and alleviate burning sensations.
Purpose
Pacifies Pitta dosha.
Indications
- General debility, emaciation, fatigue, infertility, weakness of immunity, dry cough, burning sensation, post-illness recovery, to promote lactation, and as a general tonic especially in Vata and Pitta conditions.

- equal parts by weight of the root/tuber of each herb are used.
Adult dose
3-6 grams per day, typically divided into two doses.
