A Ghee-based formulation with Hrivera (Coleus vettiveroides) as the primary ingredient, traditionally used for Pitta-related disorders, burning sensations, and skin ailments.

Indications
- Burning sensation, skin diseases, wounds, ulcers, bleeding disorders, fever (associated with Pitta imbalance), inflammation, and conditions involving aggravated Pitta dosha. Can also be used in certain gynecological conditions.

Adult dose
5-10 ml, once or twice a day.
Pediatric dose
1-5 grams (depending on age)
Preparation steps
- Gather the necessary ingredients: Hrivera (Coleus vettiveroides), Ghrita (Ghee), and water.
- Prepare a decoction of Hrivera by boiling it in water until the liquid is reduced to a quarter of its original volume.
- Strain the decoction to remove any solid particles.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, combine the Hrivera decoction and Ghrita.
- Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Continue heating until all the water has evaporated and only the Ghrita remains.
- Allow the Ghrita to cool slightly, then strain it through a clean muslin cloth to remove any remaining solids.
- Store the Hriveradi Ghrita in a clean, airtight container away from direct sunlight and heat.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in conditions with high Ama (toxins) or severe Kapha imbalance. Avoid in cases of obesity, hyperlipidemia, and uncontrolled diabetes.
