Adult dose
5-10 grams (approximately 1-2 teaspoons) once or twice a day.
Pediatric dose
2.5-5 grams
Preparation steps
- Collect high-quality Haritaki fruits, Draksha (grapes), and pure honey.
- Prepare a decoction of Haritaki by boiling the dried fruit in water.
- Strain the decoction to remove any solid particles.
- Add fresh grape juice to the Haritaki decoction.
- Mix honey into the grape and Haritaki mixture until a linctus consistency is achieved.
- Ensure the mixture is homogenous and store it properly.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in pregnant women, infants and those with severe dehydration or diarrhea.
