Preparation steps
- Collection of raw materials: Procure authentic and high-quality raw materials.
- Preparation of Guduchi Swarasa (juice): Extract fresh juice from Guduchi stems.
- Preparation of Kalka (paste): Prepare a fine paste of the prescribed herbs.
- Murchana of Ghrita: Perform Murchana (pre-processing) of the Ghrita with specified herbs to enhance its therapeutic qualities.
- Ghrita preparation: Combine Guduchi Swarasa, Kalka, and Murchita Ghrita in the prescribed ratio (typically 16:1:4).
- Heating and stirring: Heat the mixture over a moderate fire, stirring continuously to prevent sticking.
- Paka (cooking stages): Monitor the Paka (cooking stages) - Mridu, Madhyama, and Khara - to ensure proper extraction of herbal properties.
- Filtration: Once the Ghrita is prepared, filter it through a clean cloth.
- Storage: Store the Ghrita in a clean, airtight container, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
