Preparation steps
- Collect all the drugs mentioned in the formulation.
- Wash them properly to remove any dirt or impurities.
- Dry all the drugs in the shade, away from direct sunlight.
- Make a fine powder of all the drugs separately in a clean stainless steel vessel.
- Sieve the powders through a clean cotton cloth.
- Mix all the powders with each other properly.
- Mix the fine powders with sufficient amounts of water and triturate to make a paste-like consistency.
- When the paste becomes thick in consistency, roll out pills from the paste.
- Let the tablets be dried in the shade away from direct sunlight.
- Store in an airtight glass container.
