Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients of Drakshadi Ghrita.
- In a large vessel, pour Go-Ghrita (cow ghee).
- When the ghee liquefies under moderate flame, add Kalka (paste) of Draksha, Chandana, Manjishtha, Ashwagandha, Vidari, Sita (Sharkara), Shatavari, Pundrahva, Madhuka, and Utpala.
- Add cow milk.
- Cook the contents on mandagni (low heat) along with water until it gets Ghrita siddhi lakshana, ensuring only the Sneha (ghee) remains.
- Ensure proper Kashaya (decoction) extraction.
- Decant the clear liquid Ghrita into a glass container.
