Preparation steps
- Collect fresh, ripe grapes (Draksha).
- Extract juice from Amla (Dhatriphala rasa).
- Add amla juice to sugar (Sharkara) and heat it until it starts condensing.
- Prepare fine powders of the following ingredients: Draksha, Kana (Long pepper fruit - Piper longum), Madhuka (Licorice - Glycyrrhiza glabra), Shunti (Ginger Rhizome - Zingiber officinalis), Tvak ksiri (Vamshalochana - Bambusa bambos).
- Add the fine powders to the condensing mixture.
- Mix the mass well until it reaches a jam-like consistency (Leha).
- Allow the Leha to cool.
- Once cooled, add honey (Madhu) and stir well.
- Store in an airtight container.
