A medicated ghee effective in treating leprosy, insanity, and epilepsy by pacifying Vata dosha.

Cures leprosy, insanity and epilepsy.
Indications
- Vata disorders, especially those affecting the neuromuscular system, postpartum care, emaciation, debility, paralysis, hemiplegia, facial palsy, arthritis, and general weakness.

5-10 ml once or twice a day.

Preparation steps
- Collect all the ingredients as per the formulation.
- Clean and prepare the herbs for decoction.
- Prepare a decoction (Kashaya) with specified herbs and water.
- Filter the Kashaya and set aside.
- Prepare a fine paste (Kalka) of the remaining herbs.
- Melt the ghee in a stainless steel pot.
- Add the Kalka and Kashaya to the melted ghee.
- Cook on low heat, stirring continuously, until all the moisture evaporates.
- Check for the absence of crackling sound and the appearance of fine froth.
- Allow the Ghrita to cool.
- Filter the Ghrita through a muslin cloth.
- Store in a clean, airtight container away from sunlight.
Safety contraindications
- High cholesterol, indigestion, or during episodes of acute fever.
