Preparation steps
- Boil roots, barks, and herbs like Dashamoola in water until a concentrated decoction is formed.
- Ground the herbs like Bala, Ashwagandha, and Rasna into a fine paste.
- Gently warm sesame oil over controlled heat.
- Add the herbal decoction and paste to the sesame oil.
- Boil the mixture on mild heat for several hours until the water evaporates and only the herbal oil remains and the desired consistency and aroma is achieved.
- Filter the oil to obtain a clear, potent medicated taila.
Safety contraindications
- Avoid in acute Pitta disorders, severe diarrhea, and early pregnancy without expert advice.
