Preparation steps
- Collect the necessary ingredients: cow's milk, ghee, and the specified herbs.
- Prepare a decoction (Kashaya) of the herbs according to traditional Ayurvedic methods.
- Mix the herbal decoction with cow's milk and ghee in a suitable vessel.
- Heat the mixture over a low flame, stirring continuously to prevent burning.
- Continue heating until all the water content evaporates and only the ghee remains, infused with the herbal extracts.
- Filter the ghee through a clean muslin cloth to remove any solid particles or residue.
- Allow the filtered ghee to cool and store it in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Safety contraindications
- Contraindicated in conditions with Kapha aggravation, indigestion, and excessive mucus production.
