Indications
- Loss of appetite (Aruchi), indigestion (Ajirna), abdominal distension (Adhmana), diarrhea (Atisara), sprue syndrome (Grahani), cough (Kasa), and cardiac debility (Hridaya Daurbalya). Useful in Vata and Kapha dominant disorders of the digestive system.

Preparation steps
