- Amalaki fruit pulp 6 parts

Adult dose
1-2 teaspoons (5-10 grams) once or twice daily.
Pediatric dose
1/2 - 1 teaspoon
Preparation steps
- Prepare a decoction of specified herbs.
- Tie 500 Amla fruits in a cloth and suspend in the herbal decoction while boiling.
- Filter the decoction.
- Take out amla fruits, remove seeds, and fry in ghee for 5-10 minutes until homogenous.
- Add sugar to the decoction and filter again.
- Add ghee-fried amla pulp to the kashaya-sugar solution and boil.
- Wait till the total mass becomes sticky and semi-solid.
- Stop heating and allow to cool.
- Add spices (Prakshepa).
- Allow it to cool down further.
- Add honey, mix and store.
Safety contraindications
- Not recommended for acute digestive impairment or severe hyperglycemia.
